    I’ve owned plenty of parakeets and I love them to death. I’m very experienced with parakeets, but I haven’t had much experience with other birds. I’ve decided to try and convince my parents to let my purchase a cockatiel. I think that a cockatiel would be a good next step when owning birds. I’ve found I love birds as pets, having visited many people that own all sorts of birds and owning my own. Before I ask my parents, however, I want to become as knowledgeable and ready as I can for owning one. My cousin, who I visit often, had two cockatiels at one time, so I’m a bit familiar with them, but not as comfortable as I’d like.
